Nepal telecom increases the validity period of top ups for prepaid mobile from June 17, 2013. As specified earlier, NT implements the extension of prepaid mobile top ups after being approved by the company board. Previous news only included the addition of validity period for the top ups available through recharge cards which had the duration almost doubled, but the latest statement from the operator says the validity period is also applicable to Pinless top up (MPOS). Now the recharge of the least amount Rs 10 increases the validity by 5 days, up from a single day, whereas the recharge of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 extends the validity to 360 days and 730 days respectively.
