Nepal Telecom has brought new offer for the voices calls made on Saturday. With the new offer, NT customers will be calling at low tariff inside its own network, for Saturday only. The call offer is made available in PSTN, CDMA and GSM lines, which is valid from Kartik 29 (Thursday) for 3 months duration.
They have made different call offer for its different kind of services. PSTN call rates for the duration: Friday 10 pm to Saturday 8 am, are made at Rs 1 per 4 minute, which was Rs 1 per minute before. GSM/CDMA postpaid calls for the time: Saturday 6 am to 10 pm are made at Rs 0.75 per minute whereas GSM/CDMA prepaid calls for the same time are made at Rs 1 per minute. They have even mentioned their night (10 pm to 6 am) calls for GSM/CDMA to be the same of Rs 0.55 per minute.
This latest offer from NT not only fulfills customers demand for discounted rates but also increases their network revenues during Saturday: the day having less traffic compared to other regular days. As we can see NT and Ncell vying for innovative offers inside their network, we can expect similar offer from other operator as well.
