Ntc elects its board member from shareholders in their 10th AGM. An election was held during the general meeting for the representation of shareholders in the board. Among three candidates, Vishnu Kasaju wins Ntc board member position with whopping votes.
Out of the three candidates, Mr. Vishnu Kasaju and Mr. Mahendra Joshi were former employees of the company itself. They both got retired after couple of decades of working in the company. As there were enormous no of votes for the former employees, we can say that the decision makers for the election are still employees. All of the employee shares were also made public, but it seems employees are keeping it for several reasons. It could be for their attachment to the company or the handsome dividend. They also got 55 percent dividend as decided by 10th AGM.
