F1 Soft International, the parent company of eSewa, has bought the Bhatbhateni online shopping portal to start it as eSewpasal. The acquisition comes when the digital payment and online shopping have grown significantly especially in the cities. F1 soft is of the largest IT company of Nepal, with a specialization in financial technology software.

According to President of F1 Soft International, Mr. Bikash Dhakal, the acquisition will help to make the online market in the better position and reach out to all people. The Bhatbhateni online has been operational for six years. He also said that the current domain name of bhatbhatenionline.com will be changed to esewapasal.com, and make it more simple and better, using their technical expertise.

Recently, Alibaba has bought Daraz, the popular online shopping/e-commerce site in Nepal. With this latest acquisition, we can expect fierce competition among them. This will obviously be better for the customers and also for the growth of online shopping in Nepal.

Manish Shrestha, CEO of online shopping eSewa Pasal, also expresses this collaboration with F1 Soft will be a big leap for them in the online shopping industry of Nepal. He further adds, “As Online shopping is the future, eSewa pasal will work to change the definition of online shopping in Nepal”.

Now the e-commerce site is live before they have put the website on the maintenance mode. During that time, they may have customized the portal and added more features. We also found the Bhatbhateni online website still to be live, without any redirection to eSewa pasal.

People can buy products in online shopping eSewa pasal through any mobile banking and e-banking of almost all banks of Nepal. Of course, the eSewa wallet payment is there with a special discount offer. They have also started different discounts and offers to their customers.

Update: The eSewa pasal website now again redirects to Bhatbhatenionline but the site doesn’t open. So, it is quite confusing whether Bhatbhateni online has already taken it back or eSewapasal is dead.

The most exciting service from eSewa pasal is the home delivery within 24 hours, which is for the first time in Nepal.

Some of the other features are:

  • Free delivery inside Ktm ring road
  • Cash on delivery along with international payments
  • eSewa Cashback (up to 5 percent)
  • Request a product
  • Price match guarantee

F1 Soft International was founded in 2004, and now delivers development and production of fintech software in Nepal and abroad. As the government has decided to encourage digital payments, they have also been assisting the cause with different software in this area. The company also provides employment to more than 400 people.
