Realme has ranked among the top 5 smartphone brands in 18 markets for Q2 in 2018. As per Canalys, the Chinese phone maker also became the first smartphone brand to claim 100 million units sales in a short period, being the first to hit the milestone in 37 months only. Find more.
Realme’s latest bump in sales record is largely attributable to its incremental sales in India, Asian and European markets. Its aggressive strategy with 5G phones has inspired a meteoric rise for the company that launched in 2018.

Realme’s Rising Global Clout in Smartphones
In addition to its global sales record, it has also become the first to ship 50 million units of phones becoming the no.1 5G smartphone brand in India. Realme occupied above 22% market share in Q2 in India and boasted growth of 140% year on year. Overall, the company ranks fourth in the Indian smartphone market and continues to gain further momentum at this pace.
As per Canalys, Realme led a strong sales performance and grabbed pole position in Bangladesh for the first time. In Europe, the brand had a breakthrough year with benchmark sales. The company broke into the top 5 leaderboards with record shipment boasting a mammoth year-on-year growth of 1,282% growth.

Realme took the second spot in Slovenia, third in Russia and Poland, and fifth in Italy for the first time.
Canalys report has placed Realme in the top 5 smartphone brands in terms of shipment in 18 markets. They include the Philippines, Bangladesh, Slovenia, Poland, Russia, Cambodia, Czech Republic, India, Indonesia, Egypt, Greece, Israel, Italy, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Singapore, and Thailand.
Realme In Nepal
In Nepal, the company has steadily grown its influence in 2021. As per StatCounter, Realme has maintained a 3% above market share since March of this year. In May, it boasted a 3.09% market share and may compete with Vivo and Huawei in the coming days.
