The government has called for interested applications to apply for the new MD post vacancy at Nepal Telecom. As the current MD’s tenure is going to be complete from Poush 22, 2078 (Jan 6, 2022), the process for the appointment of a new Managing Director at Ntc has started.
The application for the Ntc MD is posted for the first time on Mangsir 22, 2078 (Dec 08, 2021). Interested candidates can apply for the position till Poush 7, 2078 (December 22, 2021).
A recommendation committee under MoCIT Secretary Baikuntha Aryal has developed the MD appointment and facility. And the Council of Ministers has approved the directives which you can also find on the MoCIT website.
Who can apply? (Ntc MD Criteria)
Interested candidates who meet the following criteria can apply for the Ntc MD position.
- Nepali National of age 35 to 56 years
- Holds Masters’s degree in either Commerce, Economy, Business Administration, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunication Engineering, Computer Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of Managerial Experience (10th level, first calls officer or more) at Nepal Telecom or similar telecom operator or Government-owned entities.
Those who meet the above criteria can apply for the position by submitting an application with Citizenship proof, Bio-data, educational certificates, experience certificates, commercial plan (in around 5000 words), and 2 recent PP size photos.
After the evaluation of applicants for the Ntc MD Vacancy, the committee will recommend 3 names. Then the Council of Ministers shall appoint one among them.
