Nepal’s leading internet service provider WorldLink Communications has marked its glorious 27th anniversary. Turning 28, the company has witnessed its evolution from a humble beginning to becoming the dominant market leader in the past 27 years.
The company has also reached 7 lakh unique users which is another milestone for the company which further reinforces its dominance in the internet market in Nepal.
WorldLink started its service in 1995 AD for email service. The company later launched dial-up Internet in 1997 AD and started cable internet service in 2003. It started the high-flying Fiber to the Home (FTTH) service in 2014.

The ISP has now expanded its services to 73 districts across the country. The company has played a key role in promoting digital inclusion and facilitating digital transformation.
It is also the first ISP in Nepal to partner with Akamai to set up the core content delivery network.

WorldLink reaches 7 lakh subscribers
Due to its lead in high-quality services and continuous addition of advanced and innovative features, WorldLink has always stood ahead. At the moment, the company has amassed 7 lakh subscribers. This translates to a possible thirty lakh users connected to its high-speed fiber broadband network.
