Nepal Telecom (Ntc) has launched its fourth-generation mobile network 4G in Chhillikot, Tulsipur-19. Known for its high-speed and consistent internet, the locals are now happy to able to have the advanced connectivity option in their area without having to climb up the hills to get mobile signals on their phones.
Prior to this, the locals had no option but to walk up the hills nearby to get any cellular connectivity. Even that would not suffice at times but now they are enjoying the blisteringly fast 4G service on their devices.
Ntc switched on its 4G network after erecting a base station tower in the area. The tower is currently delivering 4G and 2G services, shared Tilak GC, head of the Ntc office, Tulsipur. 4G is a broadband network and only provides voice service when VoLTE is activated. 2G, on the other hand, is a legacy network and provides decent voice service for subscribers.
