Hamro Patro Health, a product of super app Hamro Patro has bagged the Startup of the Year award. The service was recognized with honor at CNIYEF Nepal Startup Fest 2023. The event was organized by the Confederation of Nepalese Industries Young Entrepreneurs Forum shortly CNIYEF. The Industry, Commerce, and Supply Minister Ramesh Rijal presented the award to Hamro Patro at an event in Kathmandu.
Hamro Patro Health was launched in 2021. It’s a telemedicine service available within the Hamro Patro app which allows people to consult with expert doctors online. So far, over 10,000 people have directly benefitted from the service.
The Association recognized Hamro Patro Health for its positive impact on society. Minister Rijal highlighted the growing use of information technology and the development of entrepreneurial culture with innovative thinking in Nepal. Also, he shared that startup entrepreneurs will get up to Rs 25 lakh at 3% interest on a loan. Currently, the government is working on its procedure.

A Super App by its stature, the multi-purpose app provides a calendar, astrology, news, Hamro Patro Remit, and a multitude of services. Recently, the company also launched its in-app Hamro Pay digital wallet service which comes with some innovative services including inter-wallet fund transfer. Hamro Patro Health remains one of the popular services that lets users call a doctor on the app. Hamro Patro is also registered in India to expand its services in the Southern neighborhood.
