Ncell and e& International have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in Barcelona to deliver world-class digital experiences. With this cooperation, the private telco seeks to drive knowledge-sharing activities and collaborate on offering key services, products, and platforms for customers across Nepal. Jabbor Kayumov, CEO and Managing Director of Ncell, and Khaled Mohamed Riad, Chief Business Officer at e& international signed the MoU at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2024 in Barcelona. If you didn’t know, e& International is a company from UAE that excels in the digital transformation of telcos. It operates actively in 16 countries. It is a part of the e& Group.
The partnership will collaborate on multiple fronts. This includes customer value management (CVM) and advanced analytics, commercial support comprising B2C and B2B sales and marketing. Also, the two entities will closely cooperate on customer experiences, procurement, network CAPEX and OPEX optimization, an international carrier, wholesale, mobile network code (MNC) services support, digital transformation, etc.
Ncell says that this bilateral collaboration will be pivotal in driving up revenue and bringing in innovative services. It will also involve saving in procurement and network optimization, and International Long Distance (ILD) business and digital solutions.

Ncell and e& International will work for the digital transformation of the telco
Additionally, Ncell and e& International will provide real-time and contextual marketing for building the proper digital and traditional channels. It will carry out superior analytics through Machine Learning and AI models and create personalized offers using big data resources. Ncell says that it will fix strategic direction to grow its user base and manage distributors and resellers.
The cooperation also extends to include network optimization, cost-effective solutions for remote areas, technology optimization for green field analysis, and crowdsourcing. Likewise, value creation through direct sourcing with approved OEM/ODM, and service transition will also be other areas of cooperation.

Ncell will also design and identify technical solutions for enhancing its voice and data services in rural and remote areas. The telco will stress increasing efficiency and reduce CAPEX and OPEX.
The collaboration includes work on carrier and wholesale services as well. With e& Group support, Ncell will leverage its global footprint to up its mobile and roaming enablement, messaging, and vice services.
