Nepal Telecom brings benefits with 2G and 4G service launches in Manaslu Trekking Area and other places
Although areas such as the Manaslu mountain region, Manaslu trekking areas, Larke Pass, etc. are significant for tourism, they lack modern connectivity options. This has long deprived people of fast and efficient connectivity and communication with people elsewhere. Thanks to NT now, people can connect with their family and friends away from the area. Likewise, government and private companies, and tourism entrepreneurs can also leverage communication to prop up their businesses.
Also, visitors can post and share their photos and videos from their expeditions in these remote areas. If needed, rescue operations will also get a solid breakthrough thanks to the advanced 4G connectivity.
With this latest service launch, Nepal Telecom enhanced its services in a very remote region of Jagat, Salleri, Sirdibas, Wihi, Prok, Namrung, Shyo, Lho, and Samagaun of Chumnubri Rural Municipality. Additionally, the company improved mobile service quality in a village called Samdo which lies farthest along the China border (Ruila border). In these areas, NT has improved 2G services as well as started a 4G mobile network.
This enables users to connect 2G for voice and 4G for high-speed mobile broadband services. Additionally, users can also activate Ntc VoLTE for HD voice service without extra charges.

Although lying in remote regions in Nepal, the 2G and 4G service launch means, locals, as well as visitors will benefit from modern and efficient telecom services in these regions. Besides, the advanced services will help users with connectivity and also assist in possible rescue operations.
NT, being a national operator, has continued its service expansion putting more emphasis on service expansion and quality ahead of revenues.
