WorldLink has brought its FTTH fiber internet service to the Taplejung district of Koshi Province, Nepal. The service now brings high-speed fiber internet service to the residents as well as visitors, government bodies, and businesses.
The prominent internet service provider (ISP) announced the expansion in the remote region via its Facebook post. The staff of the company set up the necessary FTTH equipment to launch the fiber internet in the district. This enables the customers to enjoy high-speed broadband internet on their devices and lets them connect with family and friends anywhere in Nepal and beyond. Additionally, the internet service brings the option of IPTV (NetTV) subscription for the customers.
WorldLink says that its internet service will bring residents “better access to education, healthcare, and business opportunities” in Taplejung. On the same occasion, the company expressed its “commitment to customer focus, trust, and innovation fuels our mission to connect everyone, everywhere, all the time.”
Before Taplejung, WorldLink had started its fiber internet service in Jumla in 2023. The Kathmandu-based ISP says that it plans to expand its services across the country.
Being the third-largest telecommunications provider and a leading ISP, WorldLink is upping its role and effort to further enhance digital inclusion and promote the digital transformation of Nepal. In the crowd of ISPs in Nepal, WorldLink boasts a superb customer base of around 9 lakhs. The company has set the goal of extending its internet services at all the local levels across Nepal.
