Ncell has become the title sponsor of the Nepal Super League (NSL) 2025, the first professional franchise-based football league in Nepal. The private telco announced its partnership with Nepal Sports and Events Management (NSEM) to become a collaborator in this tournament.
Ncell and NSEM announced their cooperation on Friday, 07 March 2025, at a special event in The Plaza, Lalitpur. The telecom company is a regulator contributor to sports development. Earlier, it was one of the brand associations with the inaugural Nepal Premiere League (NPL) as well. With its involvement in NSL, the company will help promote football development and create an avenue for local talents.
Ncell signed with NSEM to be part of the tournament with its philosophy of connecting Nepal and users with sentiment and passion for Football. It’s the third edition of the popular NSL tournament.
NSL started in 2021 with NSEM as its organizer and with technical support from the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA). Today, NSL has become a key sporting activity. The competition has become very popular over the years and achieves sound participation throughout the country through franchises. The tournament, likewise, helps bring forth the regional roots of players and promote pride and unity.

Ncell Chief Commercial Officer Umair Mohsin spoke fondly of the company’s NSL cooperation. He said, “Our partnership with NSL exemplifies Ncell’s dedication to the development of sports in Nepal. We believe in the power of football to unite communities and inspire positive change.”

Similarly, NSL’s Managing Director, Shreyans Karki, expressed his excitement over the cell partnership. He said, “We are delighted to welcome Ncell as the title sponsor of NSL. Together, we hope to take Nepali football to new heights and create a stronger football culture.”
The Nepal Super League officially starts on March 29, 2025. There are seven teams in the competition battling for the ultimate victory.

Ncell was also in association with NSL last year, and that continues this year as well.
