Black Shark 5 Pro Overview

Taking off with the design of the Black Shark 5 Pro, the smartphone has a new design that looks more futuristic and stronger than Xiaomi Black Shark 4 Pro. The phone comes with a metallic frame and glass at the rear. The smartphone is 163.9 x 76.5 x 9.5 mm and weighs 220 grams. It has a punch-hole cutout at the front that houses the selfie camera. Black Shark 5 Pro comes with IP53 water and dust resistance. The display also has SGS Blu-ray certification and an 8.3 ms multi-finger touch response delay.
The Black Shark 5 Pro flexes an enormous 6.67 inches OLED Display featuring 1B colors along with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It also supports a higher 144Hz refresh rate, 720Hz touch sampling rate, a 20:9 aspect ratio, 85.7% screen-to-body ratio, 5000000:1 contrast ratio, HDR10+, DCI-P3, and 395 PPI density. For biometrics, it features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Camera
Turning our attention to the optical features of the smartphone, the phone arrives with a triple camera setup at the rear. The Black Shark 5 Pro sports a 108 MP main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a 13 MP, f/2.4 aperture ultrawide lens with FOV 120˚, and a 5 MP aperture telephoto lens f/2.4. While on the front, the Black Shark 5 Pro houses a single 16 MP sensor selfie camera to snap gorgeous selfies.
Coming to the videography aspect of the smartphone, the rear cameras can record videos up to 4K@30/60fps, 1080p@30/60/240fps, and 1080p@960fps. Whereas on the front, it is capable of recording videos up to 1080p@30fps.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC
Under the hood, the Black Shark 5 Pro is powered by the latest flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor which also runs Realme GT 2 Pro, & the Moto Edge X30. It is an octa-core processor based on 4nm processing technology that is equipped with an octa-core CPU with a maximum clock speed of up to 3.00 GHz. The graphics of the phone is handled by the Adreno 730 GPU.
In terms of the memory configuration, the device is attached with 8/12/16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256/512GB UFS 3.1/NVMe SSD onboard. On the software front, the Black Shark 5 Pro runs on Joy UI 13, based on Android 12 OS.

As for the battery prowess of the smartphone, the Black Shark 5 Pro comes juiced with a 4,650 mAh (typ) battery. The smartphone also comes with an impressive 120W fast charging support.
