Nepal’s largest telecom operator Nepal Telecom (NTC) has further slashed its data roaming charges. The customers (outbound roamers) will now get data roaming services abroad at much cheaper rates than the existing tariffs. The company has revised and lowered the charges for its data roaming service as per the agreement with its roaming partners. Ntc roaming subscribers use data roaming services the most. Therefore, the company has remarkably cut down the prices of its data roaming. This enables Ntc users to use data on their devices at affordable costs.
From now on, Ntc users of both prepaid and postpaid services can be part of the company’s roaming partners in 28 countries (and in total 32) and use data services cheaply. The move will be exceptionally beneficial for Ntc users who use international roaming services abroad. Especially, if you want to keep using an Ntc SIM card while visiting a foreign country and using data, then data roaming will be very convenient. New Ntc data roaming charges
The Ntc users can get affordable data roaming service in Austria, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Canada, China, Greece, Hungary, Ireland Israel, Italy, Japan, and South Korea using Ntc SIM cards. Likewise, subscribers can also acquire the service affordably in Malaysia, Myanmar, The Netherlands, Oman, Pakistan, The Philippines, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Switzerland, UAE, the UK, The US, and Vietnam.
According to Ntc, under the new data roaming tariffs, the company now charges 0.49 paisa per 100 KB in Austria, Qatar, USA, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, and Sri Lanka. Similarly, Ntc users can use data roaming in South Korea, Japan, Malaysia, Oman, UAE, UK, Myanmar, Netherlands, Philippines & Switzerland at Rs. 1.47 per 100 KB. Likewise, in Bahrain and Belgium, Ntc data roaming now costs 0.98 paisa per KB.
On the other hand, it costs 0.96 paisa per KB in Australia. Ntc has likewise, fixed the tariff of 0.29 paisa per KB for data roaming in Canada, China, India, and Vietnam. The same service now costs 0.69 paisa per KB and Rs 3.81 per KB in Saudi Arabia & Singapore, and Uzbekistan, respectively.
If you happen to visit this country, you can continue using an Ntc SIM card and use its data roaming service in either of these countries. You won’t have to switch to a local SIM for using the internet on your smartphone.

How to activate data roaming service in Ntc?
To activate the data roaming service in Ntc, you need to dial *1415*7# to subscribe to the international roaming service before going to a foreign country.
