Samsung Health App is the official companion for the Galaxy watch series. A recent Beta update of this app is pointing toward the inclusion of a temperature sensor on the upcoming Galaxy Watch 5. Rumors about the temperature sensor have been around here for a while now. Further, the Beta update also disclosed about the variants of the watch; Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro.

The news quickly spread after people uploaded screenshots showing a toggle for “Skin temperature during sleep”. This proves for the South Korean tech company finally implemented a temperature sensor on its smartwatches. Also, Samsung Health App has also become a medium for viewing features of upcoming Samsung smartwatches. With a temperature sensor, the smart wearable will be able to check the thermal temperature of the user while sleeping, exercising, etc.

Talking about the sizes, Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 will come in 40mm and 42mm sizes. Rumor has it that the Pro version might be available in a single size. Also, it might arrive with a titanium body and sapphire glass as premium features. It will feature a 572mAh battery. While the charging speed is going to be still at 5W as its predecessor, Samsung Galaxy Watch 4. Also, the company might take off the physical crown and only provide buttons as per leaks.
