Xiaomi recently announced MIUI 12.5 Enhanced in China with some fixes and improvements. The smartphone leader initially didn’t reveal much about its global version but now it has confirmed the list of phones that will receive the next MIUI update.
Xiaomi was supposed to push MIUI 13 updated but has instead focused on improving the current OS with some fixes. This is why the company has decided to roll out MIUI 12.5 Enhanced before it launches the next major update. The company in its blog wrote that the update will come with “system optimizations that will bring you a swifter and a lower power consumption experience”.
Xiaomi’s MIUI 12.5 is compatible with most devices but has drawn criticism for being too buggy. Despite the focus on optimization, users have complained of performance issues. Even the owners of the Redmi Note 8 Pro and POCO X3 have complained about bugs and optimizations. Now, the Enhanced Edition will come to elevate the user experience by fixing those issues.
