After launching 4G in Kathmandu, Ncell starts a new way of interacting with their customers for the 4G speed. Ncell asks people to test their 4G speed at different locations and provides feedback based on that test. The testers may even get a chance to win an iPhone.
Ncell calls it a Nbassador campaign, a word derived from Ncell Ambassador. They are using those people to get feedback and help make a better 4G in the Ncell network. Ncell even wants them to be the agent for promoting 4G to more people.
How to be a Ncell Nbassador for 4G test?
For Nbassador, you need a 4G enabled Ncell SIM, 4G handset, and an active social media account (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram). This campaign is now valid for Kathmandu, as Ncell’s 4G is available here only. Then you need to fill out a form by June 8. You need to provide your information: Name, Ncell number, Address, Smartphone Model, and Social media accounts (Facebook mandatory).
What to do being a Nbassador?
If you are confirmed as a Nbassador, Ncell will contact you and provide you 3000 MB data every week for 2 weeks, more including talk time and SMS. Then you need to visit various parts of the city for 4G speed & quality testing. You also need to provide daily feedback to Ncell through a web portal.
Chance to win an iPhone
Among those Ncell Nbassador, 5 best testers will be provided an iPhone 6s based on the inputs and their engagement in social media for 4G.
Ncell believes that this collaboration with customers helps build a better 4G network. Ncell is the second largest telecom operator in Nepal with a 44 percent market share. It has got 2G, 3G, and 4G services, having around 15 million customers.
We have already started doing those 4G tests in Kathmandu. This is for our motive to provide the right information.
We do not know, what Ncell would like to call us. But this idea of Ncell Nbassadors is quite impressive for getting feedback from the people. Would you join if you have spare time?
