Oppo has launched a new smartphone called Oppo F9 in Nepal on August 29, 2018. Oppo F9, the successor to F7, is a mid-range smartphone with super fast charging, small notch and AI functionality in camera. The phone will be able to receive 2 hours of talk time with 5 minutes of charging with VOOC technology. It is also a selfie camera-centric phone with 25 MP selfie shooter. Oppo F9 is a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display phone with 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 90 % screen to body ratio. The screen has good vibrant colors and good viewing angles. The notch in the screen is smaller than F7 which is also called as waterdrop notch. The phone is powered by Mediatek Helio P60 Chipset with 4GB and 6 GB RAM. The memory space in the phone is 64 GB with the micro SD card slot for memory expansion.
The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo, with Color OS 5.2 Over the top. Talking about camera, the phone sports a dual rear camera of 16 MP + 2 MP whereas the selfie snapper is 25 MP with Hardware HDR support and beautification. There is no any IR scanner due to the small size of the notch.
