OnePlus 7T Pro Overview
Design and Display
The design of the OnePlus 7T Pro looks much familiar if you are coming from the OnePlus devices. The phone looks almost identical to OnePlus 7 Pro. The matte-finished device comes in a single color option of Haze Blue which looks pretty impressive. The handset has a big display with a pop-up selfie camera at the top and rounded edges which makes it relatively easier to hold on the hands.
One of the major highlights of the OnePlus 7T Pro is its impressive and large display having a refresh rate of 90Hz. OnePlus 7T Pro packs a 6.67-inch display that’s slightly curved at the side edges. The resolution of 3120 x 1440, which comes out to 516 pixels per inch makes the display so crisp and vivid. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on both front and back.
Camera
OnePlus 7T Pro burrows the triple camera from the OnePlus 7 Pro. The handset has an identical setup with the same sensors, lenses, and features, except that the ultra-wide-angle camera can now do closeup shots. There is a 48MP main camera joined by 16MP ultra-wide-angle and 8MP telephoto lens. We can expect a good-looking shot from the phone but it surely doesn’t have the best camera on a smartphone.
The telephoto camera can take 3X optically zoomed photos and also has an OIS for stabilized shots. The ultrawide lens can take 120-degree FOV images which are great for group photos and scenery. The primary 48MP camera takes 12MP photos where are then digitally transformed into 48MP shots. The primary lens also has an OIS which is even more helpful for videos.
OnePlus 7T Pro camera capability lies in the 8th position of the DxO Mark camera index while the newly launched Mi CC9 Pro stays on the top along with Mate 30 Pro. There is a 16MP selfie shooter on the front which is embedded in the pop-up camera module.
Performance
The company has equipped the OnePlus 7T Pro with the newest and greatest chipset from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 855+. That’s coupled with 8GB of RAM, making this a powerhouse of a phone. There is no option for customers to choose from different storage variants as it comes with a 256GB of internal storage and also doesn’t have an expandable storage option.
Performance-wise, the phone is very impressive and is one of the fastest phones available in the world. You don’t have to encounter any difficulties with stuttering, and it’s able to load and run the latest games easily.
The OnePlus 7T Pro comes running Android 10 software OS. The software on the device looks pretty similar to stock OS as it comes with Oxygen OS which is almost similar to stock Android.
Battery and Connectivity
The large enough 4085mAh battery in OnePlus 7T Pro performs significantly well. The battery performance of OnePlus 7T Pro is even better than that of in some regards. It would comfortably last a whole day on a single charge, even with wide usage. It comes with fast-charging technology also called the Wrap Charge which charges the phone from 0-60% in just 30 minutes.
For connectivity, the device includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth v5.0, USB Type-C, 3G, and 4G with active 4G on both SIM cards. There is an in-display fingerprint sensor and even supports face unlock.
