Nepal Telecom has been expanding its 4G mobile network across the country which also includes advanced voice calling feature called VoLTE. To test those 4G features, Nepal Telecom invites smartphone companies to perform the test on their handsets.
Regarding the features of Nepal Telecom 4G, it includes support for two bands; namely band 3 (1800MHz) and Band 20 (800MHz). Similarly, they have this Voice over LTE technology (VoLTE) which provides HD quality voice call through 4G network.
So, to test those 4G bands, VoLTE and more, Nepal Telecom wants to collaborate with the Smartphone vendors/distributors. Do check all the detailed information about VoLTE features in Nepal.
It is true that not all of the smartphones available here supports all of the 4G features of Nepal Telecom. Whereas there could be some technical issues although the smartphone are capable of incorporating such services.

Nepal Telecom Testing 4G phones
As known, Nepal Telecom engineers will carry out technical tests of the gathered smartphones. During the test, they shall identify the smartphones that support the 4G features like VoLTE. They will also try to resolve any issue on the 4G services, with the collaboration to smartphone companies. After performing the tests, Nepal Telecom will enlist the compatible handsets/models on their website.
Therefore, it is quite an opportunity for the smartphone companies to claim their compatibility with Nepal Telecom’s 4G network and features.
Earlier Nepal Telecom recommended people to be aware of the 4G features and the 4G settings/mode for seamless and better quality 4G service.
Here is a notice published in national dailies for the invitation to 4G tests, where they asked the phone companies to contact them for the test.
