Leading phone maker realme has launched the realme GT 2 Series globally. The company announced the flagship Series at an event at the ongoing Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona. The Chinese smartphone OEM realme has declared it their most premium handset to date. On the same occasion, the company also announced GT Neo 3 which will come with its proprietary 150W UltraDart fast charging technology.
The premium GT 2 Series has already launched early last month in China. It is one of the first smartphones with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC powering it underneath. Likewise, the realme GT 2 Pro is now the first smartphone in Europe equipped with this flagship chipset.
With the realme GT 2 Series, realme wants to bring with it “leap forward technologies to millions of users worldwide.” The company has excelled in mid-range rangers. But now, it seeks to tap into the high-end market and position itself at the forefront of leading tech innovations.

realme GT 2 Series caries the brand’s values of tech and innovation

The realme GT 2 Pro will come with some eye-catching features all around. It will sport a bio-polymer back cover, a 150° ultra-wide camera, and realme’s own Innovation Forward Communication. All these will make for an amazing experience realme smartphone user experience.
The evolving brand realme has achieved a meteoric rise in recent years. In the last three years, the company has sold over 100 million units sales ranking among the Top 6 smartphone brand globally. The continuous push for tech and design innovations has been realme’s cornerstones.
Presently, realme sells smartphones in all ranges from entry-level to flagship segments. This includes GT Series, Number Series, Narzo, and C Series. As the 5G leader in India, it is the first country to introduce a 5G phone there with the realme X50 Pro 5G in February 2019. The company occupies a 23 percent market share in India as per Counterpoint Research for Q2 2021.

Regarding GT Neo 3’s 150W UltraDart
Alongside the global launch of its GT 2 Series, realme also grabbed headlines after announcing GT Neo 3, particularly for its 150W UltraDart charging capacity.
realme claims that its 150W UltraDart charge can charge 50 percent in just 5 minutes while maintaining the thermal temperature below 43-degree. Further, it says the battery can retail 80 percent of battery capacity after 1 thousand charge cycles.
The UltraDart charging is seen as the world’s first architecture to support 100 – 200W charging for smart devices. The technology exploits multi-boost charging pumps to promote charging speeds. Meanwhile, temperature management helps maintain device temperature despite the fast charge.
