Design and Display
Beginning off with the design, Vivo Y15C boasts a typical Vivo design language for midrange phones. The phone has a glass front, plastic frame, and plastic body. It comes with a gradient back panel featuring vertical stripes. On the front side, you get a waterdrop notch display. While on the right side, there is a power key that doubles as a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. Above the power key, there are the volume rockers. And talking about the ports, there is a 3.5mm headphone jack and Micro USB port. The Vivo Y15c measures 163.96 x 75.20 x 8.28mm and weighs 179.00 grams.
Now with the display, the phone has a 6.51-inch LCD panel with HD+ resolution. There is no fast refresh rate here and the screen stays static at 60hz. It has a 270 PPI. The company calls the display ‘Halo FullView™ Display with Eye Protection.’ Vivo has provided a special “Eye Protection Mode’ that filters harmful blue light for the eye protection of the user.

Performance
Moving to the performance department, Vivo V15C packs in an Helio P35 chipset from Mediatek. The octa-core 4G silicon has the configuration of 4×2.3 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4×1.8 GHz Cortex-A53 cores. It is an entry-level chip based on 12nm architecture. As for graphics, it features a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. In terms of memory configuration, the phone comes in two variants; 3/32GB and 3/64GB variant. But for now, Vivo has only brought the 3/32GB variant in Nepal. It boots on FunTouch OS built on top of Android 12.
Camera
For the optics, the phone sports a dual camera setup. The primary camera is a 13MP shooter with an f/2.2 aperture. Also, the camera app features Face Beauty, Live Photo, Pro Mode, etc. And the second camera is a 2MP super macro camera that has a 4cm focus. For videos, the main camera can capture up to 1080p at 30fps videos. Coming to the front side, it sports an 8MP front camera.

The phone packs in a massive 5000mAh battery and 10W fast charger. The company claims the battery life to be of 18 hours of online HD movie streaming. It also has 5V/1A reverse charging to charge other devices. It is the sole variant launched in Nepal and is available to purchase from all authorized stores as well as retail stores. Plus it is also available on e-commerce platforms.

The company has reformed a bit when it comes to pricing. But still, the chipset could have been a lot better on this phone. It is more than 3 years old already and it is not so powerful. Likewise, a USB-C port is also missed.
