Huawei Nepal has won the Certificate of Appreciation in the Excellent Tax Compliance category. The tech giant was awarded the certificate by Chief Tax Administrator Mr. Rajeshwor Gyawali at a recent ceremony.
Mr. William Zhang, Huawei Nepal CEO received the recognition on behalf of the company. Chief Tax Offices of LTO under IRD and the CFO of Huawei Nepal’s office Charles Lu Chaochun and Tax Manager Mr. Ravi Kumar Sah were among those in the presence at the ceremony.
LTP Chief Mr. Gyawali expressed his delight at Huawei’s tax integrity. He said, “The LTO is happy to award the Certificate of Appreciation to Huawei Nepal and we appreciate the multinational company for its investment in Nepal and for being fully compliant with Local Laws and regulations. Also, for providing continuous support for Nepal’s ICT market.”

Likewise, Huawei Nepal CEO Mr. Zhang said, “As a global leading ICT solution provider Huawei is committed to being compliant in every sector. We are happy to receive the ‘Certificate of Appreciation’ from LTO which will motivate us to move forward”.

On the occasion of Tax Day, the Large Tax Payer’s office hosted a ceremony to appreciate taxpayers for their compliance. Huawei Nepal was appreciated by the Committee formed under the guidance of IRD. To achieve recognition with the Certificate of Appreciation for its tax compliance, Huawei Nepal outdid 600 other large tax-paying firms in Nepal.
