Infinix Hot 10 Play Overview
It is the successor to the Infinix Hot 9 Play and the play variant of the Infinix Hot 10 that was launched a year back. Infinix Hot 10 Play boasts a large display of 6.82 inches, Helio G35 chipset, massive 6000mAh battery, and more.
Design/Display
Infinix Hot 10 Play has a sleek and stylish design. The rear panel of the device is strikingly similar to that of Infinix Hot 10. The phone has a glass front, plastic frame, and plastic back. The rear of the phone has a rectangular camera module. It comes with a drop-notch design that houses a selfie camera at the front.
The smartphone flaunts a large and wide 6.82 inches IPS TFT LCD HD+ display along with a screen resolution of 720 x 1640 pixels. It comes with a 20.5:9 aspect ratio, screen-to-body ratio of 90.66%, 263 PPI density, and 440 nits of brightness. So, you can enjoy the ultimate cinematic visual experience. For biometric security, the phone comes with a rear-mounted Fingerprint scanner and Face Unlock.
Camera
Moving our attention to the optical department, Infinix Hot 10 Play comes with an AI dual rear camera setup. The camera consists of a 13 MP primary camera along with an f/1.8 aperture accompanied by an AI lens and Quad-LED flash. It also has a portrait blurring feature that enhances the focus of every picture, in the best way possible. On the front, it houses an 8 MP selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture.
On the videography aspect, both the front and rear cameras are capable of record videos up to 1080p@30fps.
Performance
Powering the phone is a gaming-focused MediaTek Helio G35 chipset that also runs Redmi 9C. It is an octa-core chipset based on 12 nm processing that clocks up to 2.3 GHz. The chipset is definitely an upgrade in comparison with Hot 9 Play that equipped Helio A22 / A25. It is attached with 2GB or 4GB of RAM and internal storage options of 32GB or 64GB. You also get a dedicated microSD card to expand your memory up to 512 GB.
It also has MediaTek HyperEngine Game Technology, which supports an intelligent switch between LTE and WI-FI reducing game lag effectively. So it makes our online phone experience smarter and easier. On the software front, the Infinix Hot 10 Play runs on XOS 7.0 on top of Android 10.
Battery and Others
The smartphone comes with the monstrous battery prowess of 6,000mAh capacity. It also supports 10W charging. The device is equipped with the Power Marathon Technology that gives an additional 25 % battery backup. The power marathon tech has two modes “Power Boost” and “Ultra Power Mode”. The Ultra Power Mode provided by Power Marathon Tech, adds 19 additional hours of battery life which can support 2.7 hours of calls when the battery is down to 5%. The brand claims that the phone has 55.7 days standby and lasts up to 155 hours of music playback, 53.4 hours of calling, and 13.8 hours of gaming. Sadly we don’t get the fast charging support.

Infinix Hot 10 Play is a decent budget smartphone. The smartphone comes with some changes but is not much different than its predecessor. It comes with a large 6.82-inch display, huge 6000mAh battery, gaming-centric Helio G35 chipset, etc. So, if you want a cinematic display and a large battery in your phone, then the phone is for you. But if you want a smartphone for photography and gaming, then you might not like the Hot 10 Play. So, Overall it is a decent budget smartphone with some room for improvement.
