iPhone SE 3 (2022) has been launched in Nepal. The latest SE phone was unveiled along with the new iPad Air 5 (2022), Mac Studio Computer with M1 Ultra Desktop chip, and 27-inch studio display monitor in an event held months ago. Powered by A15 Bionic and having a compact size, iPhone SE 3 with 5G has now landed here in Nepal. Let’s know about the specs, features, and iPhone SE 3 price in Nepal.
Design and Display
iPhone SE 3 now features the same retro Apple design. To remind, the previous SE model also came with a 6:9 aspect ratio screen with chunky bezels at the bottom and top. Also, the back design is similar and made up of glass. While the glass aluminum sandwich design is very durable as per Apple. You get the volume rockers on the right side whereas the power key sits on the left side. There is also an alert slider for changing ring, silent, and vibrate mode on the go. It also gets an IP67 rating for protection against dust and water splashes.
While upfront, the display is a 4.7″ Retina IPS LCD panel with an HD+ resolution. This display has a 326PPI and gets protected by an ion strengthened glass and an oleophobic coating. There is no fast refresh rate though. Apple has decided to keep it simple as per its pricing policy. Also, it retains the Touch ID cooling off the rumors of Face ID.
Apple A15 Bionic
The USP of the iPhone SE 3 is its mega powerhouse, the Apple A15 Bionic chipset also used in iPhone 13 series. Currently, the A15 Bionic reigns at the top in terms of performance and raw power, taking an edge over its Snapdragon and Mediatek counterparts. This Hexa-core silicon is coupled with 3GB of RAM. The CPU configuration is Hexa-core 2xX.XX GHz Avalanche + 4xX.X GHz Blizzard. For blazing-fast gaming, GPU is handled by Apple GPU (4core GPU).
The A15 Bionic makes this phone 1.8 times faster than iPhone 8 as claimed by Apple. This 5G silicon also has a 16-core Neural Engine which is capable of 15.8 trillion operations per second. This enables faster machine learning computations for third-party applications. Also, the chipset is well accompanied by the new iOS 15. For efficiency, integration between iOs and chips is resulting in better battery life and performance.

Camera
For the optics, Apple has implemented a single camera on the back. So, there are no ultrawide or telephoto sensors. It is a 12MP shooter with an f/1.8 aperture. This single-camera offers incredible computational photography benefits, including Smart HDR 4, Photographic Styles, Deep Fusion, and Portrait mode. The powerful A15 Bionic is assisting in providing enhanced capabilities for this single lens. Also, the ISP of silicon is aimed to deliver improved night videos with better white balance, reduced noise, and true skin tone.
The 12MP sensor is also capable of shooting up to 4K @60fps. For slo-mo, it can go up to 240fps at 1080p resolution. Moreover, there is OIS for stabilization and HDR for better dynamic range in videos. Plus there is stereo sound recording for better audio output. The front side houses a 7MP front camera with an f/2.2 aperture which can shoot 120fps slow-motion videos and 30fps normal videos. Here, the stabilization is handled by Gyro-EIS.

iOS 15
iPhone SE 3 has the latest iOS 15 which brings in various improvisations and new features over iOS 14. The new OS upgrade adds portrait mode and spatial audio for better call quality in FaceTime. It also brings a 3D augmented reality mode for Apple maps. Further, the weather app has been redesigned with a better graphical display of data. Also, it has increased the security and privacy in Siri, Mail, and all over the system. The browser tab in Safari has also moved to the bottom for easy accessibility.
Battery
Apple has surprisingly kept the battery capacity secret on iPhone SE 3 (2022). But the company has claimed a better battery life with a 5nm A15 Bionic chip, 2 hours more than the previous model. Typically, this new iPhone doesn’t ship with a charger either. The phone is said to charge up to 50% in 30 minutes, with a 20W charging adapter or higher. There is support for Qi wireless charger though.
