MediaTek has launched its new mid-range smartphone chipset Dimensity 8250. The new mobile platform brings refined performance with up to 3.1 GHz primary core in an octa-core processing setup. Regarding the performance hardware, the chipset comes with 8 cores with the single prime core performing at 3.1 GHz speed. Likewise, the 3 performance cores speed up to 3.0 GHz, and the other remaining 4 efficiency cores clock at 2.0 GHz. Together with the powerful 6-core Mali-G610 GPU, the hardware delivers a smoother and more efficient gaming performance as well as the overall operations of a phone for everyday apps and multitasking.
Additionally, the Dimensity 8250 comes with more enhancements of the MediaTek HyperEngine with Adaptive Gaming Technologies. This ensures that gamers can enjoy high-framerate gameplay with longer battery life. For all regular and also the gaming phones, the chipset is a worthy performer.

The chipset offers a peak download speed of up to 4.7 Gbps. In many ways, this is a similar chipset to the Dimensity 8200.
Likewise, the chipset also brings along Tri-band WiFi 6E wireless connectivity while the 2×2 antennas deliver more reliability and performance. Similarly, when BT earbuds and WiFi work together, MediaTek WiFi/Bluetooth hybrid coexistence ensures they work seamlessly with low latency.
The Dimensity 8250 chipset will be used in midrange smartphones starting soon this year 2024.
