Ncell is Nepal’s Fastest Mobile Network: Ookla Speedtest Awards
Speedtest Awards has been given to Ncell based on the Speed Score™ by Ookla. Ncell achieved a speed score of 17.16, with median download speeds of 17.31 Mbps and median upload speeds of 9.26 Mbps. And this turned out to be the best score in the market as compared to Nepal Telecom (Ntc) and Smart Cell.
Ookla conducted 16,929 user-initiated tests. The Speedtest was done on iOS and Android apps from all major mobile carriers in Nepal in the Q1-Q2 2022 period. According to Ookla, the test finding included the cellular tests performed on smartphones. And Ncell has bragged Nepal’s fastest mobile network award, according to the speed test performance collected.

About Ncell
Ncell, the privately owned telco company in Nepal is also one of the most popular names in the telecom industry. Its telco service began in 2005 AD by the name of Mero Mobile, which later changed to Ncell. Its 3G service commenced in 2010 while 4G service got rolled out in 2018.
