The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has released the full schedules for the Nepal Premiere League (NPL) T20 cricket competition starting this Saturday, November 20, 2024. The hotly-anticipated domestic cricket contest is expected to usher in a golden era for the sport in Nepal and establish a name for Nepali cricket in foreign markets. NPL has 8 different teams participating – Biratnagar Kings, Janakpur Bolts, Karnali Yaks, Kathmandu Gurkhas, Lumbini Lions, Pokhara Avengers, Sudurpaschim Royals, and Chitwan Rhinos. The teams’ names represent their cities and provinces. The league starts on Saturday, November 30, and concludes on Saturday, December 21, 2024 (Mangsir 15 – Poush 06, 2081). Nepal Premiere League NPL schedules
NPL begins on November 30 with the first match scheduled between Biratnagar Kings and Janakpur Bolts. The match begins at 12:15 PM. In total, there are 28 league-based fixtures that end on Monday, December 28. Playoffs
Nepal Premiere League schedules for the Playoffs has three matches. The first one is scheduled between the 3rd and the 4th placed teams. Likewise, the 1st and the 2nd placed teams lock horns in Qualifier 1 and the losing team in Qualifier 1 and winner of the eliminator fixture will play out on December 19 which serves as Qualifier 2.
