Nepal Telecom (NTC) has implemented A La Carte in its IPTV service called NT TV with new price structures. This facility allows subscribers to choose TV channels under their subscription as they desire and pay only for them.
Ntc’s A La Carte on NT TV, running as part of its VAS service follows the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology’s (MoCIT) national issuance on all the TV service providers to introduce the pick and pay system. This started the A ‘La Carte TV system in Nepal making basic TV package more affordable to TV viewers. Likewise, NT TV for its part has introduced two different packages in terms of the subscription duration. Therefore, customers can buy either a monthly NT TV package or a quarterly package choosing channels from categories such as news, sports, movies, infotainment, etc.

Nepal Telecom introduces NT TV A La Carte packages
Nepal Telecom includes a total of 9 bouquet TV packs in its La Carte subscriptions. You can choose packages that suit your demands and needs for TV consumption. There are Star Bouquet, Sony Bouquet, Zee Bouquet, Discovery Bouquet, BBC Bouquet, etc. to choose from under the Monthly and quarterly subscriptions. Each bouquet comes with a set of TV channels. So, the prices are different accordingly depending on the number of channels and their demands.

For e.g., the Star Bouquet costs Rs 65 on the monthly package and Rs 195 on the quarterly package. Likewise, the Zee Bouquet comes for Rs 25 monthly and Rs 75 in quarterly purchases. The Discovery and BBC Bouquets respectively cost Rs 20 and Rs 2 and Rs 60 and Rs 6 for monthly and quarterly packages. According to the list provided by Ntc, the Super Bouquet Pack costs the highest which is Rs 175 in the monthly purchases and Rs 525 in the quarterly purchases.

Cost for Premium Package subscribers
Ntc has also announced an offer for NT TV subscribers who purchase a premium package for a year. Under this offer, for customers who buy a yearly Premium NT TV Package in the first three months of subscription, the NT TV premium package comes for Rs 360 per month.
So, when purchasing the annual package, a 50 Mbps Ntc FTTH fiber internet package comes at Rs 10,999 or at Rs 12,000 with a set-top-box (STB) which also brings 600 MB mobile data per day. Similarly, a 100 Mbps package comes at Rs 14,999 with an STB including 800 MB of mobile data per day. The 150 Mbps and 200 Mbps packages come for Rs 16,499 and Rs 19,999 respectively with 900 MB and 1000 MB of mobile data every day.
