Oppo has officially launched its first tablet called Oppo Pad. The tablet arrives with top-notch specs like 120Hz display, Snapdragon 870 5G SoC, Oppo Pencil support, 33W SuperVOOC fast-charging, and more. Oppo Pad Overview
Oppo Pad is a very impressive flagship tablet that comes with amazing specs and features on it. The brand had also announced the Oppo Find X5 series at the same event.
Design And Display
Starting off with the design, Oppo Pad comes with a premium and attractive design. It takes cues from the Apple iPad Air. The tablet comes with a flat edge design and dual-tone finish. The tablet is built of a metal frame and a frosted glass back with rounded corners. As for dimensions, the tablet is just 7mm thick and weighs around 510 grams. The tablet is available in various colors like Black and Aurora Purple.
Oppo Pad flexes a large 11 inches LTPS LCD display panel along with a 2560 x 1600 pixels resolution, and higher 120Hz refresh rate. It also comes with a 16:10 ratio, 84.9 % screen-to-body ratio, 1500:1 contrast ratio, HDR10 support, P3 wide color gamut, 274 PPI density, 480 nits of screen brightness, and more.
Camera
Now, talking about the optics of the tablet, the Oppo Pad sports a single 13 MP rear camera with an f/2.2 aperture. At the front, the tablet has integrated an 8 MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture into the side bezel. As for videography, the tablet can shoot videos up to 1080p 30fps videos at both front and rear cameras.
Performance and Memory
As for the performance of the tablet, Oppo Pad is equipped with the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor. It is an octa-core processor based on 7 nm process technology that has a maximum clock speed of 3.2 GHz. In terms of the memory configurations, it comes coupled with 6/8GB LPDDR4X RAM, and 128/256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage. Sadly, there is no MicroSD card slot for storage.
On the software front, the device runs on Android 11 with ColorOS for pad on top.
Battery And Connectivity
Talking about the battery prowess of the Oppo Pad, the tablet boasts a monstrous 8,360mAh battery along with support for 33W SuperVOOC fast charging support. It also features reverse charging and charges via a USB Type-C port. The brand claims that the tablet can offer up to 16 hours of non-stop video playback. So you won’t need to worry about the fast drainage of the battery.
Talking about the connectivity of the device, it features Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6, dual-band, Wi-Fi Direct, hotspot, Bluetooth 5.1, A2DP, LE, aptX HD, USB Type-C 2.0, USB On-The-Go, Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio, Stereo Speakers, face unlock support, etc.
Other Specs
The flagship tablet also comes with the Oppo Pencil stylus support and magnetic keyboard. The pencil offers 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity, 360-degree incognito touch. It also supports magnetic suction and wireless fast charging. As per Oppo, the stylus can operate for nonstop 13 hours on a full charge.
Likewise, the external smart keyboard connects magnetically to the tablet. It also supports many shortcuts and quick screenshot features. There’s no trackpad though.

Oppo Pad is launched at the price of CNY 2,299 for the 6/128GB variant and CNY 2,999 for the higher 8/256GB variant in China. It is now available for pre-order and will be available for sale starting March 3rd in China. It is expected to be priced around Rs. 46,999 for the base variant if it launches here in Nepal.
