It consists of a triple camera setup flaunting a main Sony IMX890 sensor (OIS), a 64MP Omnvision periscope lens, and an 8MP ultrawide unit. The inclusion of a periscope lens in this category is pretty commendable and it can take 3X flagship-like portrait shots. Similarly, you also get 6X in-sensor zoom and up to 120X digital zoom as well. Meanwhile, the selfies are handled by a 32MP snapper placed in the hole-punch cutout.
Performance
Running the things on the core is a 4nm fabbed chipset from Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2. This 5G chip features 4 cores of Cortex-A78 at 2400 MHz and 4 cores of Cortex-A55 at 1950 MHz. It is basically a rebrand of the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 5G SoC. Handling the graphics part here is an Adreno 710 GPU. For now, only the 12/256GB version is available in Nepal.

The Realme 12 Pro+ 5G seems like a beautiful offering in the midrange segment. Be it its elegant design or the periscope zoom lens, this smartphone is sure to make some headlines. But as Realme Nepal imports its devices from India, the phone doesn’t have Band 20 support, which creates a problem for NTC’s 4G in rural areas and carrier aggregation in city areas as well.
