Realme has launched the new Realme 9 5G smartphone in India. The smartphone arrives with various attractive specs and features. The smartphone might launch very soon in Nepal. Realme 9 5G Overview

Realme 9 5G is the successor to the Realme 8 that was launched last year. The phone launched alongside its sibling Realme 9 SE 5G. The new phones are the addition to its existing lineup of Realme 9i, Realme 9 Pro, and Realme 9 Pro Plus.

Design/Display

Starting off with the design of the Realme 9 5G, the smartphone comes with an all-new Ripple Holographic Design language. It has a glass front and a plastic back. The Realme 9 5G is very thin so measures just 8.5 mm and weighs just only 188 grams. It also has a punch-hole cutout at the front that houses the selfie camera. The smartphone comes in different color variants such as Stargaze White and Meteor Black.

The Realme 9 5G flexes an enormous 6.5 inches Full HD+ IPS LCD Display panel along with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. It also comes with a support of an adaptive 90Hz refresh rate, 180 Hz touch sampling rate, an aspect ratio of 20:9, 90.5 % screen-to-body ratio, 480 nits brightness (typ), 600 nits brightness (HBM), and 405 PPI density. Performance

The Realme 9 5G is powered with the MediaTek Dimensity 810 processor which also runs phones like Redmi Note 11, & Poco M4 Pro 5G. It is an octa-core processor based on 6 nm processing technology that is equipped with an octa-core CPU with a maximum clock speed of up to 2.4 GHz. it is 20% faster than the previous generations. As for graphics, it is handled by the Mali-G57 MC2 GPU.

In terms of the memory configuration, the device is coupled with 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM and 64/128 GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage options onboard. The Realme 9 5G can also expand up to 5GB RAM with Dynamic RAM Expansion technology. On the software front, the Realme 9 5G runs on realme UI 2.0 Based on Android 11 OS.  

Camera  

As for the optical features of the smartphone, the phone arrives with an AI triple camera setup at the rear. The Realme 9 5G is led by a 48 MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, a 2 MP B & W lens with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2 MP macro lens with f/2.4 aperture. While on the front, the smartphone houses a 16MP In-display Selfie camera with an f/2.1 aperture to snap gorgeous selfies. It also supports Clear Fusion tech.

The smartphone will be available for purchase starting from March 14, 2021, in India. It is available in two color options Stargaze White and Meteor Black.. The Realme 9 5G is expected to be priced around Rs. 24,999 for the base variant in Nepal.
