Design/Display

Looking at the design of the smartphone, it is pretty identical to its predecessors. The device has a line aesthetic design and also has a large Realme branding at the rear.  It comes with glass at the front and plastic at the back. It also comes with a waterdrop notch to house the selfie camera at the front. The smartphone arrives in different color variants Glacier Blue and Metal Gray.  

Realme C25Y comes with a 6.5-inch large LCD display with an HD+ screen resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels and a 60Hz refresh rate. It also features a 20:9 aspect ratio, 88.7% screen-to-body ratio, a 120Hz touch sampling rate, 403 PPI density, and 420 nits of typical screen brightness. The smartphone is also TÜV Rheinland certified. It also has a rear-mounted Fingerprint Scanner for biometrics security.

Cameras

As for the optics of the device, Realme C25Y flaunts a triple camera setup at the rear same as that of Realme C25. It is led by a 50 MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, accompanied by a 2 MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture, and a 2 MP B/W lens with an f/2.4 aperture. Realme C25Y is the first C-series smartphone of the brand to feature a 50 MP main sensor. The smartphone houses an 8 MP in-display Selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture at the front to capture beautiful selfies. 

As for the videography features of the smartphone, the rear cameras are capable of recording videos up to 1080p@30fps, and the front camera records video at 720p@30fps. The smartphone boasts attractive camera features such as beauty, filter, HDR, TimeLapse, Portrait, Panoramic view, etc.

Under the hood, the Realme C25Y rocks the Unisoc T618 chipset. It is an octa-core processor based on 12 nm processing technology that comprises two ARM Cortex-A75 clocked at 2.0 GHz and six ARM Cortex-A55 clocked at 1.8 GHz. As for graphics, the phone is paired with ARM Mali-G52 GPU. In terms of memory configuration, it is coupled with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB/128GB of internal storage onboard. You also get a storage expansion option, yes the internal storage can be expanded up to 256B via a dedicated microSD card slot. 

On the software front, the device runs on Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 out-of-the-box.

Realme C25Y boasts a massive 5,000 mAh battery along with the support for 18W fast charging technology. The device comes with up to 48 days of standby time. Realme C25Y also features a super power-saving mode. So, even when it has only 5 % of battery left, the phone offers 1.58 hours of WhatsApp chatting, 6.05 hours of Spotify listening, 2.22 hours of calling, and up to 59.20 hours of standby time.
