Design and Display
Starting with the design, Samsung Galaxy F04 sports a glass front, a plastic frame, and a plastic back. The display has a V-shaped notch. You get the power key and volume rockers on the right side. On the bottom, there is a single firing speaker and a Micro USB port for charging and data transfers. Likewise, there is a 3.5mm headphone jack as well.
The smartphone sports a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display. It has an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. This 20:9 aspect ratio screen has a standard 60Hz refresh rate as expected. There is no fingerprint scanner on this phone but there is Face Unlock for biometrics recognition.

Under the hood, Samsung F04 packs the entry-level chip from Mediatek, the Helio P35. This silicon is based on a 12nm fabrication process and was released in 2018. It is an octa-core processor and has the configuration of 4×2.35 GHz Cortex-A53 & 4×1.8 GHz Cortex-A53 cores. For handling light games, there is a PowerVR GE8320 GPU. The chip gets paired with 4 GB of RAM, 4 GB of virtual RAM (RAM Plus), and up to 128 GB of storage. There is a dedicated MicroSD card slot as well with the support of up to 1TB expansion. On the software side, it doesn’t feature Samsung’s OneUI but boots on the Android 12 Go edition instead. And the company has promised 2 years of major Android updates.
Camera
Coming to the optics, the device offers a dual camera setup. Here, the primary lens is a 13MP shooter with an f/2.0 aperture. There is no EIS stabilization for the videos and it can capture up to 1080p videos at 30fps. And there is a 2MP depth sensor with an f/2.4 aperture, accompanying the dual camera setup. On the front side, you get a 5MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

Battery, Charging, and Availability
For power and juice, the smartphone carries a 5000 mAh battery. This Li-Po cell gets a fast charging support of 15W. Samsung has bundled the 15W charger inside the box. For connectivity, the phone supports, 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
