Samsung Galaxy M02 Overview
Samsung Galaxy M02 is the rebranded version of Galaxy A02 that was launched a few months back in Thailand. It is also similar to the Samsung M02s.
Design/Display
The smartphone is similar to Samsung Galaxy A02 in terms of design. It comes with a polycarbonate body. Samsung Galaxy M02 has a Glass front, plastic back, and plastic frame. The screen has a dewdrop notch at the top, Samsung likes to call it an ‘Infinity-V Display’ that houses the front camera.
Samsung Galaxy M02 flaunts a 6.5 inches PLS TFT LCD HD+ panel along with a screen resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. It comes with an aspect ratio of 20:9, 81.9% screen-to-body ratio, and a 270 ppi density. Sadly the device does not come with a fingerprint scanner which is not a big deal for a budget phone.
Optics
In the optical department, Similar to many other entry level Low Budget smartphones it also comes with the dual camera setup. Samsung Galaxy M02 includes a 13 MP primary camera with f/1.9 aperture accompanied by a 2 MP Macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture, and LED flash.
On the front, the smartphone houses a 5 MP Selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture. Now moving on to the videography of the smartphone, the rear camera is capable of recording videos up to 1080P@30FPS.

Under the hood, Samsung Galaxy M02 is run by a MediaTek MT6739W chipset. It is a quad-core chipset built on a 28 nm process that uses a 1.5 GHz Cortex-A53 CPU and PowerVR GE8100 GPU. The smartphone has two RAM configurations coupled with the 2GB/3GB of RAM and an internal storage of 32GB. You will be able to expand your storage via a dedicated microSD card slot.
On the software front, the phone has One UI 2.0 on top of Android 10. It is a let as the SoC has degraded to MediaTek MT6739W from Snapdragon 450 used on Galaxy M02s.
