In Nepal’s hypercompetitive budget phone market, this handset will give sound competition to phones from other manufacturers. Let’s explore the specifications, features, and price of the Tecno Spark 30 4G in Nepal.
Tecno Spark 30 4G Specifications
Design and Display
The Tecno Spark 30 4G phone’s design strikes the eyes immediately with its beautiful camera design on the back. It’s a circular camera module that looks stylish thanks to its textured surface and there’s an LED flash system in the bottom cutout. Likewise, a strip of textured real estate runs across the circular camera which looks like a watch strap and makes the whole camera system look like a watch. The phone is 168 mm in length, 76.4 mm in width, and 7.9 mm in thickness.
The phone carries a 6.78-inch IPS LCD display with a 90 Hz refresh rate and reaches 800 nits of brightness. It’s a larger display than what we saw on Spark 30C but this already-released phone has a 120 Hz refresh rate. Similarly, the screen boasts a decent 396-ppi density on its 1080 x 2460-pixel FHD+ screen. The phone is better dust and water-resistant than Spark 30C thanks to IP64 certification. Since it comes with Wet & Oily Touch Control technology, you can operate the phone even with wet phones.
Performance
Tecno Spark 30 4G runs on MediaTek Helio G91 chipset which is fabricated on 12nm technology. It’s got eight cores with two running at 2.0 GHz and six clocking in at 1.8 GHz. Tecno provides the handset with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory. So, that’s pretty hefty resources for normal users. Anyway, the storage is expandable via a microSD card.
Likewise, RAM can also be extended by virtual RAM of 8 GB, making it 16 GB in total. That should take care of multitasking, browsing several tabs, or playing games. However, don’t expect to run graphics-intensive titles in the highest settings, as that’s possible on flagship phones with expensive chipsets. On the software front, the phone ships with Android 14 OS.
Tecno says that the phone can sustain “5 years of lasting fluency due to comprehensive technical optimizations in hardware and software”. That means the phone will retain function without much lag even with heavy and newer apps that will be installed on the phone later on.
Camera
The Tecno Spark 30 4G features a single camera setup but it’s headed by an exciting 64 MP Sony IMX682 sensor that takes high-detailed shots. The unique part of the camera setup is that it’s got a four rear flash system meaning it has a four flash setup which can offer mighty help with light while taking shots in low-light conditions. Likewise, the front has a 13 MP camera with dual-tone flash.
Battery and Connectivity
One of the best highlights of the phone is its large 5000mAh battery and it comes along with 18W fast-charging capacity. The company claims that the battery pack can retain good health for at least four years. The battery boasts 1,000 charge cycles after which, it still gets over 80% of its original capacity.
In terms of connectivity, it’s a 4G LTE phone so it’s compatible with high-speed mobile broadband. It’s also got WiFi 5, IR blaster, NFC, etc. In addition, there’s a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB Type-C port, GPS, and other standard Android features.
