Vivo has launched its new budget phone – vivo Y19s in Nepal. The handset is made with a focus on durability and also comes with a 6.68-inch display and a 5,150mAh battery. It comes with the brand’s distinct design perspective and could be a competitive phone in Nepal’s midrange smartphone market. But despite the naming, the phone serves as a new alternative to the vivo Y17s rather than being its successor. Similarly, vivo has launched the phone with 128 GB of storage and 6 GB of LPDDR4X RAM. The storage is expandable to up to 1 TB with a dedicated MicroSD card slot which means users can use two SIM cards and an SD card. It ships with Funtouch OS 14, vivo’s own custom Android skin based on Android 14.
Camera
vivo Y19s features a single camera of 50 MP on the back supported by an auxiliary lens. The optics is aided by AI Photo Enhancement so it helps deliver clear photos and details. The front has a 5 MP Portrait camera for selfies and videos.

Our Verdict
Vivo Y19s is a striking phone, especially in regards to its stunning design. In particular, I liked the LED ring feature on the back which flashes during music playback. Also, the 6 GB of basic RAM is highly useful for the smooth running of apps and games. Considering the price factor of the device, its battery, and sturdy design make it a worthy investment for sure.
