Taking off with the design of the smartphone, it arrives with a similar design to the Vivo Y22. It has a big camera module & plastic build. The phone measures 164.3 x 76.1 x 8.38 mm in dimension and weighs just only 192 grams. The device also has a water drop notch to house the selfie camera. It also has IP54 water and dust resistance. The device is available in different color options like Starlit Blue, and Summer Cyan.

Vivo Y22s flaunts a large 6.55 inches HD+ IPS LCD display panel along with a screen resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels, and a 60 Hz refresh rate. The smartphone has a 20.1:9 aspect ratio, 89.67 % screen-to-body ratio, 70 % NTSC color gamut, 270 PPI density, 530 nits of brightness (HBM), and so on. For security purposes, it has a FaceUnlock and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Camera

Moving on to the camera of the Vivo Y22s, the phone sports a dual camera setup at the rear. It is led by a 50 MP primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture which is accompanied by a 2 MP macro camera with an f/2.4 aperture.

While on the front, the smartphone features an 8 MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture for pictures & videos. On the videography aspect, both the front and rear cameras of the smartphone are capable of recording videos at 1080p@30fps.

Under the hood, the Vivo Y22s is fueled by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor. It is an octa-core processor based on a 6 nm processing technology that clocks a maximum of up to 2.4 GHz high frequency. Likewise, the graphics of the smartphone is handled by the Adreno 610 GPU.

In terms of memory configuration, it is paired with 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and offers 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage onboard. There is also a memory expansion option of up to 1 TB via a dedicated MicroSD card slot. Whereas on the software front, the smartphone runs on Funtouch OS 12, which is based on Android 12 OS.

Coming to battery prowess, the Vivo Y22s gets its juices from a massive 5,000mAh battery. It comes along with support for the 18 W fast charging. Vivo claims that the device takes 70 minutes of time to charge from 0 to 70 %. The phone is charged via a USB Type-C port.
