Vivo Y54s Overview
Vivo Y54s is the successor to the Vivo Y53s that was launched a few months back in Nepal. The smartphone comes with almost the same specs and features as of its predecessor.
Design/Display
Starting off with the design, the smartphone is very similar to other mid-range phones. It has a glossy finish on the rear panel. The smartphone has dimensions of 164.2 x 75.4 x 8.5 mm and weighs only 188.4 gm. The phone also has a waterdrop notch at the front for selfie cameras. Vivo Y54s is available in various color variants such as Titanium Grey and Lake Blue.
Vivo Y54s flaunts a 6.51 inches IPS LCD Full HD+ Display panel along with a screen resolution of 1600 × 720 pixels. It also has a 20:9 aspect ratio, 82.6% screen-to-body ratio, and 270 PPI density. For biometrics, it comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Camera
As for the optical department of the smartphone, Vivo Y54s sports a dual-camera setup at the rear with a squarish camera module. It consists of a 13 MP primary camera with f/2.2 aperture, which is accompanied by a 2 MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture. While on the front, it houses an 8 MP selfie camera along with an f/2.0 aperture that snaps your beautiful selfies.
Now coming to the videography of the smartphone, both the rear and front cameras record videos up to 1080P @ 30fps. The phone arrives with attractive camera features such as Night mode, Portrait mode, Panorama, Time-lapse, slow-motion video recording, etc.
Performance
Turning our attention to the performance of the device, Vivo Y54s is powered with the MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset. It is an octa-core chipset based on a 7 nm processing technology that comes with two Cortex-A76 clocked at 2.2 GHz and six Cortex-A55 clocked at 2.0 GHz. It is attached with 6GB of RAM and offers 128GB of internal storage. There is also an extra 2GB of virtual RAM that can be borrowed. You also get to expand your storage via a dedicated microSD card slot.
On the software front, Vivo Y54s runs on Android 11-based OriginOS 1.0.

Vivo Y54s gets its juices from the massive non-removable Li-Po 5,000mAh battery along with the support for 18W Fast Charging technology. It charges via a USB Type-C port. You get a very long lifespan with the battery.
