WorldLink now lets users extend the company’s internet service by 3 days themselves via the app and SMS. The company brought this facility after revising its previous policy for the validity extension.
The private ISP shared the update on Facebook. A company representative said, “Previously, the company would automatically extend the service by three days after a customer’s payment period expired and the service was disabled,” said a company representative. “However, now, after the internet bill payment period expires and the internet is disabled, the customer will be able to extend the time themselves through the company’s app and SMS.”
The facility gives users convenience and relief to continue using the service when the subscription ends. There are times when you may not pay the money instantly. This is when such a facility becomes valuable. If you cannot pay the renewal charge, the company doesn’t immediately disconnect the connection. In the past, it extended the service validity from the company side; now, users are authorized to do it so that they can pay the renewal charge within three days.
For e.g., if your WorldLink internet package ends on Chaitra 20 and you extend the service for another three days, it expires on Chaitra 22. The three-day extension works as credit, so if you renew your plan later for 30 days, you get an active connection for 27 days.
