Xiaomi’s 200W Fast charger is coming soon. The Chinese tech giant announced its 200W fast charging and 120W Wireless HyperCharge technology in May 2021. Now with 3C certification, the next-gen super-fast charging is debuting soon. It is likely that the charger will get unveiled along with a new Xiaomi phone. Let’s know more about Xiaomi 200W Fast Charger below.

Xiaomi’s 200W Fast Charger

The upcoming charger has been certified by 3C in China. It is a mandatory certification in China for the protection and safety of the user. A screenshot showing Model number MDY-13-EU has got the 3C certification. The new charger has a maximum charging speed of 20V/10A (200W) charging speed. The new 200W fast charger is excelling from its predecessors. The current-gen 120W fast charger from Xioami can charge fully in 18 minutes. In contrast, the 200W can do it in 10 minutes for a 4500mAh cell.

It can charge a 4,000mAh battery to 50 % capacity in just 3 minutes. For fully charging, it will only take an additional 3 minutes. This is going to be a record-breaking tech in the charging arena.

Well, Xiaomi might introduce this blazing speed charger with the Xiaomi Mi Mix5 smartphone. The Mi Mix series are premium range devices with extraordinary specs. It’s been quite a while, the market has not seen a Mi Mix phone. So, the company will likely debut the phone and the charger jointly.

About Fast Chargers and Battery Life

With emerging tech, chargers are getting even faster. From charging your phone for hours to just plugging it for less than 30 minutes, the pattern has changed. Now just 15 minutes of charging can provide you the juice for a whole day. But there is misconception and fear among users regarding battery health. Although fast charging can degrade the battery health quicker than normal chargers, the new battery tech has also come along to prevent that. Tech companies are also bringing smart solutions like installing dual-cell batteries. Also, smartphones are smart enough to let only necessary current flow inside.

Xiaomi’s 120W Fast Charging Tech

The fast charging tech has become a boon for those having a busy schedule. But flagship phones from popular brands are skipping chargers from the box which is kind of a bummer. In Nepal, the fastest charging speed is reigned by Realme GT Neo 3 having a 150W charging speed. And Xiaomi 12 Pro comes second to the list with a 120W fast charger.
