Facebook has launched a new feature in its main app platform to help people find free and public WiFi near to them. Facebook Find WiFi is already rolled out worldwide that lists the free WiFi hot-spot near you, to connect to the internet.
The feature is already available here in Nepal where a handful (around 6) WiFi hot-spot is shown nearby us. It is known that the previously tested feature in some countries is now available globally. There may be still some regions where the feature is not available. It will be available very soon to your place as well.
The feature is available in official Facebook app on both Android and iOS platform. This feature will help businesses to attract people to their place for Free WiFi and get the taste of service, tempting for Cash flow in other ways.
The feature helps people connect to internet when they are running low in data volume. It also helps travelers in rural areas to get the public WiFi spots where the cellular data is either not reliable or available or costly.
How to use Find WiFi in Facebook?
If you want to use the Find WiFi feature in Facebook for finding free WiFi near you,
- you could be notified of the feature at first as a notification.
- Or you need to go to apps of the Facebook menu
- Click all or more then you will Find WiFi tab with WiFi logo in red color.
- Click it you will find the list of Free or Public WiFi near you.
- You can even view it in Map or get directions for navigation to reach the spot.
If you want to add your public or free WiFi to Facebook for your business promotion or tempting people to visit your place, then you need to manually add your WiFi network.
