Xiaomi has announced the launch of Mi A3, the Android one powered smartphone in Nepal. The Mi A3 phone is an upgrade to Mi A2 in terms of better processor, display, camera, and more. Overview
Mi A3 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 chipset and has a 6.08 inch Super AMOLED display HD+ resolution. Sad to see the HD+ display, while equally happy for the AMOLED one. The AMOLED display enables vivid colors, deeper blacks, and increased power efficiency enabling an immersive viewing experience. The teardrop notch houses the selfie camera, which makes the full view display possible, along with the lesser bezel.
The glass sandwich design makes the phone easy to use one-handed. There is a Gorilla Glass 5 protection for the Front, back and camera module of the device. As per Xiaomi, the 7th generation In-screen fingerprint scanner in the phone has a 15% increase in the fingerprint detection area and 30% more accuracy over the previous generation.

Variants
There are two variants of the phone with 4GB RAM + 64 GB storage and 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. There are several color variants of the phone, namely kind of Grey, not just Blue, and more than White. Mi A3 also features P2i Nano-coating to protect the device from water spills.
Camera
Regarding the Camera, the phone supports the triple rear camera with 48 MP Sony’s IMX586 main sensor, Ultrawide lens of 8 MP, and 2 MP depth sensor. The same main sensor powers the Oneplus 7 Pro smartphone. The larger sensor in the phone enables to capture of more light and higher quality. Xiaomi also includes Steady handheld Night photography mode in the phone for better low light photography.
For the front camera, Mi A3 has a 32 MP selfie camera, making it one of the highest resolution selfie camera phone. Xiaomi says the superpixel size of 1.6 um makes crisp and detailed selfies even in the low light situation.
