Nepal Telecom had launched the Happy Learning Data pack and e-Shiksha pack offer to provide affordable online learning to students for this pandemic period. The large volume data pack fits the need of people to attend regular classes and meetings online. Earlier, you need the support of your institution to buy the subsidized data pack for your mobile. But now, Nepal Telecom has initiated this method to let students subscribe to this Happy learning package on their own.
Nepal Telecom has been partnering with several institutions to provide such data packages to their students. Recently Nepal Telecom had an agreement with PABSON, University Grants Commission to facilitate online learning.
As you have to ask your school, colleges, university to send an email with your name to Nepal Telecom, People found it difficult to subscribe to the eLearning package. Similarly, as the mobility is prohibited in this situation, the institutions were troubled to send such an official recommendation on their letterhead. Considering this problem, Nepal Telecom now integrates a Student KYC form on its website to enable the self subscription.
