Realme has launched its all-new budget phone C17 alongside Narzo 20 Series via Virtual Launch Event on September 21, 11:30 AM IST. The C17 succeeds Realme C11 and Realme C3 and comes with the slogan #SmartherThanEver. After the launch, C17 will go on sale in India on Flipkart. Realme C17 Overview
Smooth 90Hz Display and Design
Realme C17 flaunts a 6.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720x1600p. The best of this beautiful display is that it’s of 90Hz refreshed rate. This device has a screen-to-body ratio of 90%. The display houses a single Punch-hole at the top left corner of the phone.
Coming to the design, at the first glance we can observe tat the chin of the device is thick but the bezels are tiny as possible. Volume rockers and Power button are placed at the right edge whereas SIM Tray at the left. 3.5mm headphone jack, Type-C Reversible connector and Speaker Grill are placed at the bottom.
On the rear panel we can see eye-pleasing finishes; Lake Green and Navy Blue. Lake Green is inspired by a clear lake to give people a feeling of comfort and tranquility. Navy Blue is inspired by the deep sea to give people a deep and mysterious feeling. Both finishes are as shiny as they should be.
Round shaped Fingerprint Mount is placed in the middle of the rear panel. As, for the camera module, it is placed at the top right corner and is rectangular in shape. Looking at the build and its curves in edges, the device must feel comfortable to hold in hand.

13MP AI Quad-Camera Setup
Realme C17 boasts an L-shaped AI quad-camera setup. The layout of lenses and LED flash inside the module seems similar to Samsung M51.
The AI Quad Camera setup includes a 13MP Main sensor, 8MP Ultra-Wide Sensor, 2MP Macro Sensor, and 2MP Black & White Sensor. This setup is capable of shooting 1080p videos at 30fps.
Coming to the front camera department, the device’s display houses a punch-hole where its 8MP front camera resides. This sensor is further enhanced by AI and has Beautification modes for better results. It is also capable of shooting 1080p videos at 30fps.
Snapdragon 460, Software And Storage
Snapdragon 460 chipset (Same chipset as Vivo Y20) powers the Realme C17 to carry workloads. 6GB RAM, Cortex A53 with 1.8GHz Clock Speed CPU, and Adreno 610 GPU help the device in handling heavy graphics works and tasks. Snapdragon 460 may feel kind of old and slow but the device still managed to score 1,52,227 in AnTuTu Benchmark.
The device runs on Android 10 out of the box on top of Realme UI skin. We hope Realme has plans for the implementation of Android 11 after it rolls out soon. As for storage, C17 offers 128GB to keep all the stuff. A Dedicated MicroSDXC card slot is there in support to expand the storage further if it isn’t enough for you. You still have cloud storage in your arsenal though.
Massive 5000mAh Battery And Connectivity
Realme C17 packs a 5000mAh battery which provides sufficient juice for the device’s usage. Realme 6i also featured a 5000mAh battery. The battery supports 18W Dart charging technology which can charge your battery faster.
Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, USB 2.0, Type-C reversible connector, USB On-The-Go, and 3.5mm headphone jack is there for connectivity options. The phone integrates Proximity sensors, Accelerometer sensor, and other common sensors.
