Secrets to The success
We all know the open secret of the smartphone brand for its success is the best value for smartphones. Xiaomi smartphones arrive with attractive and impressive specs at affordable pricing. So, it played a big role for the brand to take over in the Nepalese tech market. Recently the brand saw a huge huge growth in the market with the launch of the Redmi 9 Series and Note 9 series. The smartphones like Redmi 9A, Redmi 9C, Redmi 9, Redmi Note 9, Redmi Note 9 Pro, and Redmi Note 9 Pro Max were a massive hit in Nepal. The smartphones offered the best specification for the price range.
Another reason for the brand’s reign in Nepal is partnerships with online platforms like Daraz and Sastodeal. The offline expansion added to the overall growth with Xiaomi setting up more than 1600+ offline partner stores with 350+ Mi Preferred Partner stores across the country, strengthening their presence in Nepal. The company currently holds a strong distribution network across locations.
Xiaomi is also the Number One selling smartphone brand in India. The brand also managed to become the third-largest smartphone manufacturer in the world. It holds the world-wide smartphone market share of 13.1 percent and shipped a total of 46.5 million smartphone units.
Now as Xiaomi brand has become a top smartphone brand in Nepal for the third quarter of 2020. We hope that Xiaomi will be able to maintain its position in the coming days. It is quite a challenge though. But if they continue to bring smartphones with top specs on affordable pricing and satisfy the users, they might just be able to continue.
