Private telecom company Ncell Axiata Limited has brought into operation an all-female managed service center in Maharajgunj, Kathmandu. The new Ncell Center provides all the customer care services from a single touch point.
The center will help empower female professionals empowerment and level the playing field. This will likewise boost the scope for female opportunities at leading firms in the community.
Upon the opening of the all-female Ncell Center, the telco said, “This concept is a testament to Ncell’s support to women’s empowerment, gender parity, and vibrant communities. Furthermore, it is aligned with the company’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) mission strongly promoting, championing, and encouraging DEI at the workplace.”
At the same time, Yuvraj Shrivastava, Chief Human Resource & Administration Officer of Ncell, also shared his excitement. He remarked, “We are delighted to launch a fully female-managed Ncell Center in the heart of the city. This move will play a pivotal role in supporting Ncell’s DEI advocacy. Having strategies and practices to support a diverse workplace and leverage the effects of diversity, will help the company achieve a competitive business advantage.”
Similarly, Jyoti Dahal, Customer Service Manager of Ncell, also spoke of growing women in telecom enterprise. She enthused, “Customer service was mostly held by men in telecoms previously. The last three-four years have seen conscious efforts to improve gender parity in the industry. If you look at the industry from a delivery perspective, the way customer experience has evolved, gender parity only helps improve our business.”

Ncell all-female customer care services
The newly launched all-female managed service center provides all customer services. The list of services ranges from general inquiries on products and services, SIM subscriptions, and internet settings to various enterprise services.
Additionally, customers can also visit the center to upgrade their old SIM cards to 4G. They can likewise, change SIM and mobile numbers, modify CUG numbers, biz plans, international roaming, and more. The service center also provides services of recharge balance and transfer, bill payments, etc.

All female managed customer service center | opening offers
Meanwhile, Ncell has also announced exciting offers upon the opening of its all-female customer care center. With this offer, you can get a bonus on recharge for every recharge of Rs.50 for one week. The only requirement is that you need to recharge the balance from the Maharajgunj Ncell Centre.
If you recharge the balance with Rs.50, you can get a recharge card of Rs.20 as a bonus. Meanwhile, for the recharge of Rs.100, you can get two recharge cards of Rs.20. Likewise, if you recharge for Rs.200, you will get four recharge cards of Rs.20. And for the recharge of Rs.500, you get 10 recharge cards each bringing Rs.20.

Ncell provides services through 31 Ncell Centers across the country. The telco expects that the customer service center furthers “the company’s effort to reach out to the customers and better cater to the need of the customers locally for enhancing the customer experience.
