Nepal Telecom (NTC) will now provide various telecommunication services in High Courts and District Courts including dedicated FTTH internet and intranet services. Regarding this, the state-backed company has reached an agreement with the Supreme Court on Chaitra 21, 2080.

Ntc and the SC signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on the agreement papers. Ntc Managing Director Mrs. Sangita Pahadi and Supreme Court Joint-Registrar Mr. Hariraj Karki signed the agreement papers.

Being a national telecom company, Ntc prioritizes providing value-added services as well as commercial services. The company even places emphasis on high-quality service upgradation and expansion over profit. Recently, the company had reached a collaboration with CAAN to provide high-speed WiFi internet at 34 airports. Now, it’s expanding its telecommunication services in High Courts and District Courts. It will facilitate various court activities as well as help the public with connectivity while visiting the High Courts and District Courts. At a time when court proceedings are also becoming the object of digital transformation in Nepal, Ntc’s telecom services will enhance digital connectivity at the designated courts.
