They say better late than never. And yes better late than never. We all are excited about the launch of Realme X2 in Nepal after the months of the launch of the same device in the Indian market. Realme X2 is basically a beefed-up Realme XT with a better selfie camera, a more powerful chip, and a faster charging mechanism. Realme X2 is basically an upgraded version of Realme XT with a lot of improvements. Design and Display
Realme X2 smartphone has a Super AMOLED display. Dimensionwise, the phone measures 158.7 mm x 75.2 mm x 8.6 mm and has a weight of 182 grams. The phone packs a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and 403 PPI pixel density. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on the rear and the front and has an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 and a screen-to-body ratio of 84.07 %.
There is a Gorilla Glass 5 protection of the back and the front along with a stainless steel enclosure on either side. The tall display holds a tiny notch at the top for the selfie camera and the design and the color of the device look stunning.
Camera
The camera found on the X2 is the combination of features from Realme XT and Realme X2 Pro. The phone has an identical camera setup as that of Realme XT but burrows the shooting features from X2 Pro. There is a Quad Camera setup along with a 64MP primary sensor at the back. Furthermore, there is an 8MP f/2.3 ultra-wide lens to capture an image of a 120FOV, a dedicated 2MP f/2.4 macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. The rear camera can record videos utilizing the wide-angle camera and can slow-motion videos up to 960fps. There is also a video bokeh more which looks amazing.
For the selfies, the Realme X2 comes with a new 32-megapixel camera that uses quad pixel technology to get better selfies.
Chipset and Performance
The Realme X2 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G SoC based on the 8nm process. Here G stands for Gaming and Realme X2 handles games quite good. Additionally, a high-speed primary and secondary storage are available on the phone with either 4GB, 6GB or 8 GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB and 128GB of internal storage. This combination is more than enough for managing daily tasks.
Furthermore, there is a dedicated microSD card slot to expand storage up to 256 GB. Moreover, the Octa-core processor coupled with Adreno 618 GPU makes the device capable of rendering smooth experience while consuming media and gaming.
Battery, Connectivity, and Others
X2 is also a champ in terms of battery capacity and charging capacity. The phone houses a non-removable 4000 mAh battery that provides power to the handset all-day with moderate to heavy usage. Additionally, it also supports 30W VOOC 4.0 Flash Charge technology which is better than the previous generation VOOC 3.0. As per the company claims, the new charging technology and can charge up to 67% in just 30 minutes of charging time.
To make the phone more advanced and worthy, Realme has added a fast optical under-display fingerprint sensor for secure unlocking of the device. X2 also has a life-saving 3.5mm headphone jack so that users can use conventional earpieces as well as wireless headphones. This phone runs on the latest Android 9.0 Pie OS on top of ColorOS 6.1 with the colorOS 7 updates coming soon.
Connectivity-wise, the phone supports ample bands of LTE for 4G connectivity. There is support for 40 4G LTE bands.
